ED alleges TMC spent ₹112 crore on aircraft and chopper, then paid rent for them
An Enforcement Directorate investigation revealed that the TMC purchased an Embraer Legacy 600 jet and an Agusta 109 SP helicopter from Carewell Aviation India Pvt Ltd for ₹112 crore. Subsequently, the party reportedly paid additional funds to rent the same aircraft and helicopter from the company, bringing the total expenditure to ₹160 crore. The ED has conducted raids at various locations linked to the firm.
