ED: 100 highway toll plazas illegally charging vehicles without FASTag
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged that approximately 100 highway plazas managed by NHAI-approved operators have been using two illicit applications, 'Mobdata' and 'Any', to unlawfully gather crores in toll fees from vehicles lacking FASTag. On September 2, the agency carried out searches across multiple states, targeting 14 locations throughout Delhi-NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
