Ebix Chairman Vikas Garg held by ED in Mahadev betting probe
The Enforcement Directorate has taken Ebix Group Chairman Vikas Garg into custody from his home in Delhi. This action is linked to a money laundering investigation involving ₹6,000 crore connected to the Mahadev online betting platform. According to the agency, funds obtained from illicit betting activities were funneled through businesses managed or owned by Garg. Previously, the ED had seized assets valued at ₹940.77 crore linked to Garg, his relatives, and his corporate entities.
