Dipanita, the granddaughter of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, has thanked the BJP for working to restore his legacy. She remarked that for seven or eight decades, there had been deliberate attempts, particularly in West Bengal, to wipe out his history.
