DMK supporters demonstrate as Udhayanidhi is moved to a new police station
A scene of disorder broke out near the Sengipatti Police Station in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, as DMK members gathered to protest. The demonstration followed the arrest of party leader Udhayanidhi Stalin regarding controversial comments made about actor Trisha. Although he was initially meant to be taken to the Thanjavur South Police Station, authorities diverted his route to manage the large crowds. Throughout the protest, demonstrators were seen tearing down posters of CM Vijay located outside the station.
