District administration slaps ₹1 lakh penalty on 7 Noida schools for fee hike
The Noida district administration has issued a ₹1 lakh fine to each of seven private schools for breaching Uttar Pradesh's fee regulation guidelines. The institutions penalized include Apeejay, Sparsh Global, Ramagya, Bal Bharati, Vishwa Bharati, Sri Chaitanya Techno, and St John's. These schools were found to have increased fees beyond the allowed 7.23% limit for the 2026-27 academic session. Officials have not yet clarified whether parents will be issued refunds.
