Disney provides increased exit packages to veteran leaders before upcoming job cuts
Disney is providing more generous severance terms to senior staff members who choose to retire early, just before the company begins broad workforce reductions. The firm has launched the Voluntary Early Retirement Offer (VERO), a temporary initiative designed to provide an improved retirement plan that acknowledges their tenure and work. To qualify for VERO, staff must be at least 50 years old, have a minimum of 10 years of service at Disney, and must not be employed under a contract.
