Dipke calls for nationwide peaceful protests following Wangchuk's removal from Jantar Mantar
Abhijeet Dipke of the Cockroach Janta Party has urged citizens to hold peaceful protests in their own cities today, following the Delhi Police's "forced" removal of Sonam Wangchuk to a hospital. Dipke claimed that police detained and beat him before letting him go, and also used lathis against students gathered at Jantar Mantar. Dipke stated, "Do not violate any laws... We will demonstrate that we will not put up with this dictatorship."
