Director Honey Trehan shared that Diljit Dosanjh signed on for his film 'Satluj'—previously known as 'Punjab 95'—without even looking at the script. Honey recounted that Diljit told him, 'There is only one story from Punjab that is worth telling if it doesn't revolve around 1984.' The director further noted, 'After seeing a photo of Mr. Khalra, he just said, 'Waheguru ji... let me know the time and place. I will be there.'
