Dilip Buildcon: Wayanad tunnel landslide was due to extreme rain
Dilip Buildcon stated that the landslide at the Anakkampoyil-Kalladi-Meppadi tunnel construction site in Wayanad, Kerala, was the result of "exceptionally heavy monsoon rainfall." The company further noted that given their rigorous compliance protocols, the possibility of technical mistakes is extremely low. Meanwhile, Environment Minister Sunny Joseph described the tragedy, which claimed five lives, as a "manmade disaster."
