Demolition of Azam Khan's Jauhar University put on hold
The Moradabad Divisional Commissioner's court has put a stay on the demolition notice issued to Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, an institution established by SP leader Azam Khan. Previously, the Rampur District Magistrate had ordered the teardown of 38 structures, claiming they were built without the required permits. This legal relief comes after Samajwadi Party leaders staged a protest in Ayodhya to oppose the planned demolition.
