Delhi Zoo sees birth of 3 Indian cobras after 15-year gap

For the first time in nearly 15 years, the National Zoological Park in Delhi has managed to breed three Indian cobra hatchlings. The snakes hatched between June 29 and 30 following a controlled incubation process, which was necessary because eggs left in natural conditions are frequently destroyed or consumed by birds or the cobras themselves. The young snakes are currently in good health and have been moved to a protected area where officials are keeping a close watch on them.
