After living alone for more than 20 years, Jatayu, the only Egyptian vulture at the Delhi Zoo, is set to get a partner. Officials are currently negotiating with zoos in other states to bring a mate through a transfer, exchange, or gift deal. Jatayu was originally brought to the National Zoological Park following a rescue after it migrated to the capital.
