Delhi voter verification deadline pushed to August 17 by Election Commission
The Election Commission has decided to prolong the door-to-door voter verification process in Delhi as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, with the new deadline set for August 17. Following this, the draft electoral roll is slated for release on August 24. Election officials have until October 22 to address any claims or objections submitted by the public. The official publication of the final electoral roll is currently set for October 27.
