Delhi to boost medical education with additional seats

The Delhi administration is looking to grow its medical education sector by increasing the number of undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-speciality spots. Plans include opening two new medical colleges that will provide 300 MBBS seats, alongside an expansion of MBBS, BDS, and PG seats at current institutions. Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh stated that this move is intended to tackle the lack of qualified doctors and improve the city's overall healthcare infrastructure.
