On Friday, intense rainfall struck various locations across Delhi-NCR, leading to significant water accumulation and traffic congestion. Flooding was observed near the arrivals terminal of Indira Gandhi International Airport, as well as in areas like Connaught Place, Subroto Park, Mahipalpur, Basant Gaon, and near Rail Bhawan. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has declared a red alert for rainfall, which remains in effect until 8 pm.
