Delhi Master Plan 2047 suggests air taxis to tackle traffic
To enhance travel and cut down on road congestion, the Delhi Master Plan 2047 has introduced the concept of 'air pods' and 'air taxis' for the capital. The proposal also includes developing an inland waterway network along the Yamuna River as an alternative mode of transit. It is worth noting that a previous study had already suggested a test air taxi route linking Connaught Place, Gurugram, and the Noida International Airport.
