Delhi leads India in cybercrime e-Zero FIRs with over 6,000 cases
Delhi has recorded the highest number of e-Zero First Information Reports for cybercrimes in the country, reaching a total of 6,115, as stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs in the Lok Sabha. Chandigarh followed in second place, having registered 4,174 such cases since November 2025. The central government established this system to allow states and union territories to file e-Zero FIRs for cybercrimes, with a particular focus on instances of cyber financial fraud.
