Delhi High Court mandates stray dog sterilisation drives
The Delhi High Court has directed the MCD and NDMC to conduct pilot sterilisation and vaccination programs for stray dogs across different wards. The court specified that dogs must not be caught by force, and residents should bring the animals in for the procedures voluntarily. The bench stated, "We don't want any dog to die...5% population should be left unsterilised so that the next generation sees the dog."
