Delhi government approves ₹8,300 crore project for cleaner air
On Friday, the Delhi administration gave the green light to an ₹8,300 crore initiative aimed at reducing pollution, titled 'Clean Air, Healthy Delhi.' Backed by the World Bank, the seven-year program is scheduled to launch this September and run through August 2033. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that the strategy focuses on lowering emissions by encouraging the use of electric vehicles and removing older, polluting cars from the roads.
