Delhi consumer court fines Mercedes-Benz and dealer ₹10 lakh for concealing car's history
The Delhi Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has directed Mercedes-Benz India and its dealership, T&T Motors, to each pay ₹5 lakh to a customer. The man had bought a sedan on December 12, 2018, but subsequently discovered that the vehicle had been initially registered months earlier, on July 25, 2018. The commission has mandated that both parties fulfill this payment within a 60-day timeframe.
