Delhi CM defends 3-child rule for Lakshmi Yojana, says women aren't baby machines
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta has supported the three-child cap for the 'Lakshmi Yojana' scheme, stating that women should not be viewed simply as "machines for producing children." Gupta explained that her main focus is the health of women, which is why she implemented the three-child requirement. Under this scheme, women between 21 and 60 years old belonging to households with an annual income of ₹2.5 lakh or less will receive a monthly financial aid of ₹2,500.
