Delhi adds 200 electric buses, women-only services, and a new EV charging hub
The Delhi government is enhancing the city's public transit system by introducing 200 additional electric buses. The initiative also includes launching an interstate electric bus route between Delhi and Karnal, starting 56 dedicated services for women, and opening a large-scale EV charging facility at the DTC Rajghat Depot-I. These measures are designed to increase public transport capacity and speed up the transition to cleaner, more sustainable travel options across the capital.
