Srinivasa Rao Valluri, father of Indian weightlifter Ajaya Babu Valluri, secured a bronze medal in the 56kg category during the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi. Now, 16 years later, Ajaya has earned a silver medal in the 79kg division at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, falling short of the gold by a mere 1kg.
