Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal informed the Rajya Sabha in a written statement that there are currently 96,024 cases awaiting resolution in the Supreme Court, with 10,094 of those pending for more than a decade. Across all High Courts in the country, the total number of pending cases stands at 64,72,536. This figure includes 80,660 cases that have been unresolved for over 30 years, along with 4,52,152 cases that have been pending for more than 20 years.
