Crude oil costs climb once more

On Monday, crude oil prices climbed again after Iran turned down negotiations with the United States, leaving the agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz unresolved. Brent crude increased by 0.8% to surpass $84 per barrel following a 5% gain over the previous three sessions, while WTI crude reached $78.74 per barrel. In the stock markets, Japan’s Nikkei climbed 0.6% and South Korea’s KOSPI saw a 0.5% increase.
