Congress has been illegally using 24, Akbar Road office since 2013, RTI reveals
According to an India Today report based on an RTI response, the Congress party has been in "unauthorised occupation" of its previous Delhi headquarters at 24, Akbar Road since June 26, 2013. The government has reportedly not collected any rent for the property since that time. The premises were originally granted to the party on August 7, 1992, but the allotment was officially revoked in 2013.
