Coal India earmarks ₹1,900 crore for cleaner coal tech
On Tuesday, state-owned Coal India Limited disclosed in an exchange filing that it intends to put ₹1,900 crore into research. This investment aims to develop cleaner coal technology, boost mining output, and decrease emissions. The company also stated that it is currently carrying out 19 research and development projects. These projects are valued at ₹225 crore and are supervised by the National Centre for Coal and Energy Research.
