CM Adhikari: West Bengal to grant ₹5 lakh to 60 Rath Yatra groups
On Monday, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari declared that the state administration will grant ₹5 lakh in financial aid to each of the 60 Jagannath Rath Yatra committees. Adhikari stated, "The old rathas [chariots]...need renovation. I hope that the committees will use the money for repair and renovation."
