Christopher Nolan says 'The Odyssey' required 2 million feet of IMAX film
Director Christopher Nolan shared that he filmed his newest project, 'The Odyssey', using native IMAX 70mm technology, consuming more than 2 million feet of Kodak 65mm film. For this production, IMAX developed a custom camera known as the 'Keighley.' This new model features a lightweight carbon-fiber exterior, a built-in LCD display, and operates with about 30% less noise than traditional IMAX equipment.
