Christian delegation discusses FCRA Amendment Bill with Amit Shah
A group of Christian representatives, headed by DMK MP P Wilson, held a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the upcoming Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026. The delegation urged the Home Minister to either scrap the bill entirely or refer it to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) for further review. In response, Shah maintained that the proposed legislation is entirely religion-neutral.
