Chinese twin sisters complete their Bharatanatyam Arangetram in Beijing
Jin Yanshu and Jin Yanai, twin sisters from China, completed their Arangetram—the traditional debut performance in Bharatanatyam—in Beijing. A number of guests, including Indian Ambassador Vikram Doraiswami and his wife, attended the event. The 16-year-old sisters have been learning this classical Indian dance style for 12 years, starting at the age of three under their teacher, Guru Jin Shanshan.
