Chinese neural technology enables 12-year-old Russian girl to walk
A 12-year-old girl from Russia, who had been paralysed below the waist following a vehicle crash, is now able to stand and walk using assistive devices after receiving closed-loop spinal cord neural interface surgery in China. The girl was admitted to the hospital in April to undergo this advanced procedure, which utilizes a neural interface system developed entirely in China. The Russian Embassy in China assisted in organizing her medical care.
