Chinese firm starts automated assembly line for robots to build robots
An automated manufacturing line for sophisticated, general-purpose humanoid robots has been introduced by the Chinese firm XPeng, enabling robots to independently mass-produce other robots. According to CEO Xiaopeng He, their IRON humanoid robot was put together and walked off the assembly line entirely on its own, requiring no human help to start up.
