China tackles extreme heat with 'rooftop rain' cooling system
Amidst severe heatwaves in China where temperatures have soared to 44°C, the nation has implemented a 'rooftop rain' solution. This mist-based cooling technology is currently in use at a high-rise residential complex located in the central Shanxi Province. The system is capable of lowering surface temperatures by 5-8°C in just a few minutes. It has been set up across 12 apartment buildings, with an investment of approximately $2.43 million.
