China has officially launched 'Xianglong,' its first home-grown boring and blasting machine, in Wuhan. This massive tunneling rig has completed production, addressing a need for specialized equipment capable of handling difficult geological terrain. A video released by the state-run Xinhua news agency displays the large machine at a China Railway Science & Industry Group manufacturing facility.
