China distancing itself from Balochistan mining ventures due to dissatisfaction, says Pak leader
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and a Pakistani lawmaker, has alleged that Beijing is displeased with Islamabad and is withdrawing from mining initiatives in Balochistan. Rehman raised concerns regarding who is currently managing the Reko Diq mining operations and where the resulting resources are being sent. He further remarked that Pakistan is failing to reap the actual benefits of its own mineral wealth.
