China creates hypersonic missiles able to strike distant aircraft
According to a Bloomberg report, China has built hypersonic glide vehicles (HGVs) designed to fire air-to-air missiles at critical aircraft located thousands of miles away. These HGVs are capable of changing direction while in flight toward their objectives. When launched from a DF-17 missile, an HGV can cover a distance of 2,414 km, nearly reaching Guam, a key US military base.
