A donation of ₹4 crore intended to improve facilities for staff at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been rejected after the cheque bounced. According to an India Today report, the bank discovered that the account used for the large donation held a balance of only ₹3. Authorities at the bank are currently drafting a notice to request an explanation from the woman, who had also previously contributed ₹10,000 to the temple.
