Medical professionals in Chennai have successfully treated a 53-year-old patient suffering from varicella encephalitis, a serious and uncommon brain disorder triggered by a chickenpox infection. The woman experienced critical brain swelling, internal bleeding, and a risky blood clot. Through a combination of surgery to reduce intracranial pressure, antiviral medication, and specialized multidisciplinary care, she was able to make a full recovery. She was released from the hospital after a stay of about 40 days.
