CEO of robotics firm that supplied Ukraine proposes using humanoids for US border security
Sankaet Pathak, the Indian-origin founder and CEO of the humanoid robotics company Foundation, has held discussions with US Department of Homeland Security representatives. He proposed deploying his company’s combat-tested robots to monitor the US-Mexico border. Pathak stated that these humanoid machines could effectively cover areas that are currently overlooked by existing watchtowers and drone technology. Earlier in February, Foundation provided two of its Phantom MK-I robots to Ukraine to be tested on the front lines of the ongoing conflict with Russia.
