Centre suggests 3-year PUCC validity for BS-VI cars under 6 years old
The central government has put forward a proposal to increase the PUCC validity for private BS-VI cars that are up to six years old, moving it from one year to three years. As per the draft notification, BS-VI vehicles between six and 10 years of age will be required to get their PUCC renewed on an annual basis. For vehicles that have crossed the 10-year mark, renewal will be mandatory every six months.
