Centre informs Supreme Court it will not pursue cases against NEET protesters
The Central government has assured the Supreme Court that it is committed to dropping FIRs filed against students who participated in protests regarding the NEET paper leak. The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) previously called off their demonstration last month after receiving guarantees that no punitive measures would be taken against the participants. The Supreme Court has clarified that state authorities have the discretion to dismiss or withdraw these cases.
