Celina Jaitly to play Sister Nivedita: Who was she?
Actress Celina Jaitly will be seen playing the role of Sister Nivedita in an upcoming biographical film. Originally named Margaret Noble, she was born in Northern Ireland in 1867. After meeting Swami Vivekananda in London in 1895, she relocated to Kolkata in 1898. She is recognized as one of the earliest women from abroad to adopt Hinduism and was also a vocal supporter of the Indian independence movement.
