A bag filled with cash and jewellery valued at ₹9.52 lakh was stolen by three women from a jewellery store in Mehsana, Gujarat, according to reports. CCTV footage of the incident revealed two of the women diverting the attention of an 85-year-old shopkeeper as the third accomplice grabbed the bag. Reports noted that one of the women apparently stopped to offer a quick prayer before fleeing with the bag, after which the Visnagar Police initiated a manhunt.
