CBI takes six railway staff into custody over corruption charges
The CBI has apprehended six railway employees along with three additional individuals in connection with three separate bribery investigations spanning Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. It is alleged that the suspects solicited illegal payments in exchange for processing invoices and granting official concessions. During raids conducted in Jaipur, Delhi, Bikaner, Raipur, and Bhilai, investigators seized cash, various documents, digital equipment, and gold ornaments. A railway official and an intermediary have been remanded to four days of police custody.
