Cargo vessel carrying Chinese sailors goes down off Odisha coast
According to a PTI report, a Panama-registered cargo ship has capsized in the Bay of Bengal, roughly 444 km away from the Odisha shoreline. The vessel, which was transporting iron ore to Singapore, had a crew of 24 people, primarily of Chinese nationality. Both the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard have initiated search and rescue efforts, though there is no confirmation yet regarding any survivors.
