A bulk carrier vessel, which had departed from India and was heading toward the UAE, broke into two pieces and went down in the Hormuz Strait on Tuesday. The incident occurred after the ship collided with another vessel close to Iran’s Qeshm Island, according to reports. Footage broadcast by Iranian media captured the 32-year-old cargo ship, identified as 'Luni', as it took on water. All 23 crew members were successfully rescued and transported to the island.
