BRO rebuilds Sikkim bridge in 5 days following flood damage
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) successfully reconstructed the Bailey Bridge over the Phee Chu river in Sikkim's Dzongu area in just five days. The structure had been destroyed by a landslide caused by intense rains. On Saturday, Dzongu MLA Pintso Namgyal Lepcha officially opened the bridge, restoring the primary road access between Dzongu and the rest of Sikkim.
