BPCL acquires remaining stake in Brazilian oil firm for ₹2,312 crore
BPRL Ventures BV, a subsidiary of BPCL, has boosted its stake in the oil and gas exploration firm IBV Brasil Petroleo Limitada, moving from 60.86% to full 100% ownership. The transaction, valued at ₹2,312 crore, involved purchasing the 39.14% interest previously held by Videocon Energy Brazil. BPCL stated that this move grants the company access to more equity oil and gas, which will help support India's energy security.
